Uber vs. Limos
This is probably an opinionated topic where many consumers can provide personal experiences and insightful reasoning behind their opinions, but allow us to provide the facts.
Naturally, Uber is seen as an affordable service, but does that make it better? More reliable? More professional? Absolutely not.
Limousines are becoming more prevalent, as word continuously spreads about the unique benefits their services provide. Attention to detail, work ethic, and professionalism is a common virtue associated with a limousine company. However, although Uber may be a unique transportation service in its own right, it can be unpredictable, unprofessional, and inconsistent.
That does not necessarily make them a horrible alternative to a limousine, but it definitely rules them out if you are planning a professional event. There are major differences associated with these two services, and they center on image, communication, and consistency.
Presentation is key
The image is a clear factor of how a “specific service” presents themselves. Let us look at Uber. They usually show up dressed in casual clothing, they may or may not open your passenger door, they may give you a proper courtesy greeting, and you might be fortunate enough to receive a quality service for your money.
With a New Jersey limousine company, you are getting a professional driver.
They will be professionally dressed from head to toe, they will greet you, they will willingly open your passenger door, and they will engage in a casual, yet professional conversation. It is a matter of quality vs. quantity and preference. Clearly, with the inclination and substantial rise in limousine services, a preference has already been made.
Communication is important
Communication often indicates if a company makes your life easier or harder. Again, let us look at Uber. Miscommunication often results in an Uber driver arriving at the wrong destination, making you late for wherever you needed to be. In some cases, you may even need to call a new Uber driver because their schedule does not permit them to dedicate their time and undivided attention to delivering the ONE service you are paying them for.
Limousine drivers, on the other hand, are employed for the sole purpose of communicating and transporting effectively. Whether you schedule ahead of time or call them last minute, you are guaranteed to arrive at your destination a lot sooner than an Uber driver could ever promise you! What a relief.
Even though both services have viability, it is becoming more apparent to consumers where they belong. Yes, it is a matter of preference and personal experience that determines a consumer’s decision, but overall, the statistics do not lie. Wouldn’t you personally prefer to be on the winning team, who consistently delivers and offers stability?
Uber is appealing, considering you are able to set your own schedule, choose your own hours, and do your own thing, but what benefit does that have for you and me?
Limousine companies provide you with consistent transportation, unmatched customer service, professional chauffeurs, and benefits that make you feel like family. It is obvious why one service is starting to prevail over the other.
The company that does the right thing, ends up being the only thing. It’s ABC Taxi Limo.
